Combining modalities to facilitate your recovery.

Andrea has been a licensed massage therapist for 18 years and has specialized in injury recovery.  She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Cranial Sacral massage.  She combines these techniques with her 36-year experience as a nurse to facilitate your healing and recovery.  Andrea provides interactive treatments for a more robust recovery.  Andrea uses multiple modalities such as sound therapy, body work, energy work and intuition to guide you to healing.

Andrea also uses cupping, a technique where silicone or glass cups are placed around the major muscle groups, making a suction with the skin to increase blood flow to the area. The cups can be left in place for 10-or-so minutes and this is referred to as stagnant cupping. Cupping can also be dynamic, with the practitioner sliding them around oiled tissues.  The use of cups allows for the stretching and opening of muscle tissue, creating space to drain toxins from your cells.  The type of cupping used will be determined based on clinical need.

Andrea is a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, she offers private sessions and classes in Reiki to groups or individuals.  Reiki is an energy healing modality that uses the body's own bioelectric field to facilitate healing of body, mind and spirit.
